Healthy Lifestyles Gloucestershire (HLS Glos) required a marketing and engagement campaign microsite that would enable citizens to take the first step towards a healthier lifestyle.
The microsite needed to gain an understanding of the population and get them started on their health and wellbeing improvement journeys.
The Solution
Best-You’s ‘pledge’ microsite allows citizens to make a pledge to improve their health and wellbeing. They can either pledge to lose weight, stop smoking, reduce alcohol consumption, increase physical activity and/or improve wellbeing.
This tool can be used for multiple campaigns including alcohol reduction during national campaigns (alcohol awareness week) or as a holistic approach to improving lifestyles. After making a pledge, users are automatically invited to create a Best-You user account to set goals against their pledge and track behaviour change, evidenced all in one place.

The pledge microsite can be personalised and adapted to suit any campaign and service or branding.
The ‘pledge finder’ allows users to find pledges to help get them started.
The microsite provides a ‘pledge counter’ displaying how many pledges have been made, influencing ’herd behaviour’ and a social movement in the community.
The microsite can link to your social media channels and has a feature to share your pledge on social media, increasing awareness of the campaign and service.
